Nice treadle lathe

This beautiful machine is owned by oldironken a memeber of this forum.

He would like to know who made it?

It was already posted on the forum.

I pick this lathe up a couple of years ago with the intention of creating a treadle and flywheel for it "someday". My recent aquasition of a Crown lathe with probably put that a little further back on my list of priorities. Anyhow, i have not been able to find any makers marks on it, yet i'm fairly confident it was manufactued and not homemade. But i am alwasy open to being proved wrong.

The table is wood with the ways reenforced with steel. The Flywheel is missing, but i calculated it to be about 16" in diameter based on the slots where the belt passes thru the table.

I'd love to hear anyone thoughts or ideas on this machine.
