Demas Lathe and universal Slide rest.

Demas Lathe Nr 4, a practical lathe for metal and wood,designt expressly for machinists, carpenters, cabinetmakers, dentists, pattern makers, makers of honey boxes and others .

It can be run with steam if desired; and is in construction and action is so simple that the most inexperienced can speedily master it.

Up to 10 inch in diameter can be turned, and with its back gear and universal slide rest makes a very complete machinist tool.

This lathe is built entirely of iron and steel, except the treadle, which is of ash.
