Vintage IXL Model W3 Lathe

Vintage IXL lathe circa 5" x 24" gap bed, backgeared and screwcutting. Bought new for the present owner's great grandfather for his son's 15th birthday in 1909 and, never having been motorised or modified, is in remarkably fine original condition. Complete on the maker's original treadle-drive stand. Large T-slotted boring table, 3-jaw chuck, faceplate, catchplate, screwcutting changewheels and the hand T-rest with two Tees.
