Cunliffe and Croom of Manchester were machine tool makers.
Although the address was given as Manchester, they were actually located in neighbouring Salford, at Broughton Iron Works on Edward Street, Broughton. Makers of lathes; boring machines; milling machines, planing machines, shaping machines.
