Mann C.A. USA.

C.A. Mann

Little known, and now very rare, Mann lathes were built by the short-lived (1885 - 1905) Charles A. Mann Company of Providence, Rhode Island.

Manufactueres of small lathes for foot or other power.

I had to doctor it a bit to get it readable.

On this picture you can see that this is a treadle lathe, the bed has been cut put to allow for the belt to go to the flywheel.

This is the 11" foot lathe, these lathes where disigned to convert easely over to a countershaft.
