Bernhard's Machines # 5 Barnes Lathe #4

This is my barnes #4 Lathe.

In unrestored form, will put pictures later on in the nice clean condition.

After i stared to investigate what was missing i found out that it had the wrong head stock on it, the one you see is a Harding head stock.

I have not found a #4 head stock jet to replace thie harding head.

That is now repaired with the missing parts made for it.

The machine how i got it in this condition i was not able to work with it.

That is the shaft holding nut made up for it.

Now the lahe is useble.
