Bernhard's Machines # 3 Pfeil lathe

This is my restored Pfeil lathe.

Its cleaned only i have not repainted it, the only modevication i did was that i made a joky pully on the left hand leg.

i did this to stop the slippage of the belt, i think it needs a 6 mm round belt and mine is 5 mm round and it's also very new with lots of stretch in it.

The tray i made from pictures and lookd good on the lathe.

The flywheel was painted red and i do not know if this was always so.

This is stamped in the side bar of the treadle MB with a crown, no idea why or is this made by somebody else.

This 9 is stamped in the bed and all parts above the legs, on others it looks like a 6.
