Bernhard's Machines # 2 Goodell Pratt drill

The second machine that is now restored and working properly.

The problem was that the hand wheel was not turning on the axel, but in the holding shaft.

I had to turn the pin down and crimp a new bush over it, this in turn was turned to the right diameter and it is now turning properly without to much play.

This how i bought the drill in a nice box with little rust.

This looks big.

Now it looks a bit more in proportions to the right size. 

Newly placed into the drill and working good.

Have to redo this picture later.
