This machine (Type 2) was a dedicated grinding machine is designed for light work, carrying emery and buffing wheels up to six inches diameter by one inch face.
Based on the type 2 former frame and uses a flat perforated belt, as patented in 1887.
Made from 1886 till 1907.
It will be found a most useful machine by carpenters and other woodworkers for grinding plane irons, chisels and other tools, and with emery wheels of proper shape gumming their saws.
Wieght of machine 85 pounds: boxed for shipment, 115 pounds.
