Barnes Amateur scroll-saw

The Amateur saw.

This scroll-saw is smaller than the #7 saw, about 3/4 size, and was the first attempt to make scroll-saws for the amateur market.

This was a total failure from the beggining, the design failure was , No fixing provision to floor which coused the machine to move away from the operater sitting on a separate chair.

Produced from 1874 till 1876, then replace with the # 1 scroll-saw.
