For Sale: a wonderful example of the very first For Sale: a wonderful example of the very first Drummond Flat-bed lathe from 1902. This is the early model with the headstock from 1902. This is the early model with the headstock, bed and fitting entirely different to the later versions. Completely original and unmodified and mounted on the maker's treadle stand together with a separate wall-mounted countershaft unit and electric motor. Equipped with a period swivelling vertical milling slide by Atlas (Tom Senior), 3-jaw chuck, 4-jaw chuck, backplates and the original hand T-rest. Full working order and, if you would like to restore, an easy cosmetic job. £375
